Climb behind a roaring waterfall at Salto El Sapo. As you approach the waterfall you'll get a grand view of the falls, but you can also snap photos from the observation areas above and below the falls. The biggest attraction here is the path going behind the waterfall. Be prepared as the water comes down with a lot of force, and be sure to keep hold of the guide rope to stay safe on the slippery path. Wear a bathing suit and waterproof your belongings before going under, as you are sure to get wet. Using our custom trip planner, Canaima National Park attractions like Salto El Sapo can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Amazing the strength of this waterfall! Don't miss it! It's not as dangerous as it can be seen in the photos... It is included in excursions to Salto Angel usually

  • The frog falls at the Canaima lagoon are a beautiful photo opportunity. But what fun it is to go through behind them and get wet or bathe a bit is not quite clear to me.
