  • This theatre is amazing. Heaps of history attached to the building, and so much entertainment. An experience not to be missed .  more »

  • Beautiful theatre. Excellent productions. Always a warm welcome.
  • Me and my friend went on the "bring a nappy" ghost tour and felt very disappointed in it. The advertisement for it stated twist and turns and hidden doors, none of which were evident. We went into a room that had a previous group in. The actors had said that they were stalling for time, and that they had ran out of material. so they ended up telling childrens ghost stories and an acting class to waste time. (nothing else happened in this room) went into the next room and was sat on a table, again more talking nothing "bring a nappy" worthy. Then went into the next bit with witches (even though previously we were told they were vampires) and crammed in, again more talking. We then sat through a theatrical play that we didn't want to see and was never advised. All in all very poor experience and management. When contacting the theatre to request a £18 refund including booking fee we was told that they are unable due to different "tastes" and would not take any of this into consideration.
