Stroll through an elevated oasis of greenery amidst steel and concrete at Crossrail Place Roof Garden, rooftop public gardens covered by a timber lattice glass roof. Stretching in a giant glass tube for more than 300 m (984 ft), this densely planted site features trees and plants with many seating areas and pavilions. Asian plants are planted in the East, while American plants are in the West. A 60-seat performance space inside the garden provides opportunity for various artists to entertain the crowd. Really nice place to visit and relax. Very easy to find as well. Did think it was bigger and at the top of one of the very big buildings as that's what it appeared to look like from photos and reviews online. Otherwise it's a nice place
One of my favourite places in the area to come for a bit of peace and quiet, hidden away from the busy streets below. You can find a wide variety of unique plants of various sizes and species in the garden, with helpful boards describing each of the areas the plants represent. The garden is easily accessible both by escalators and lifts, with one main pathway connecting the two restaurants at either end of the garden and two twisty side paths connecting to the main path. There's plenty of seating available to relax and the whole area is covered by a beautiful glass roof, held up with wooden beams but with plenty of open space so you still feel like you're outdoors while being protected from heavy wind and rain. The garden is open every day, from early morning to late evenings (with good lighting throughout when it gets dark) and toilets are available below in the Crossrail station.
