Trip Planner: Europe / UK / England / Hampshire / New Forest National Park Hampshire / Ashurst / New Forest Wildlife Park
Set in natural woodland, New Forest Wildlife Park specializes in providing a safe home for native and past-native British wildlife. The park is recognized as the UK’s leading institution for the rescue and rehabilitation of unwell, injured, and orphaned otters. It also rehabilitates other wildlife, such as owls, deer, and foxes, in similar situations. Alongside the British wildlife, the park hosts a few international guests, including wallabies. Join the keepers for their regular informative talks throughout the day and watch them feed the animals. Look out for the free-roaming, inquisitive deer, one of which has been known to examine visitors' pockets for treats. The adventure playground is the ideal place to let little ones run loose, including a zip line, climbing ropes, swings, and more. There is also a special play area for children under six. Relax in the Woodlands Bakehouse coffee shop for lunch, or treat yourself to home-baked cakes and New Forest ice cream. Use Inspirock's suggestions to plan your Ashurst trip and find the best activities and attractions for your vacation.

A good range of animals. Loved the otters and deer. Lots of owls too. There's a cafe with seating area outside. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and saw I think every animal (like a sleeping polecat!), plus the wolf pack was very active and running around. I recommend if you're in the area and have some spare hours. Great place to enjoy them!
Great place for kids and adults alike. Watched the wolves being fed, the wallabies and then the otters. Great environment for all the animals. The snowy owls are magnificent. The butterfly house had some really gorgeous species flying around close enough to see the fantastic detail. Think we need to go again to take it all in!! Next time with a proper camera!
