  • A museum built with the help of the Japanese. Impressive and beautifully designed. The stairs you used to move to the main part of the museum were one of the most batter parts for us. There is also an interactive world map at the end, and you can now actively see the nuclear-tested areas, the locations of nuclear power plants, and the recent accident dates.

  • I really recommend this museum to all. It is nicely processed and the atmosphere is breathed into a person, the Helly.... Far more than the Chernobyl (zone) itself. Only the weaker nature must first eat, so that they do not pass there.

  • I visited this museum before making the trip to Chernobyl and I found it to be a good accompaniment. I didn't have change for an audio guide but most of the exhibits had English explanations. The museum itself, although small, is well curated and very engaging. I found it personal, informative and I even saw some photos I had never seen before. Cheap entry, just take some cash. Staff were friendly. I would recommend.
  • Staff members are very friendly and helpful. The exhibition was poorly or organised, hence the 4 stars. Sometimes it wasn’t clear which exhibits I was supposed to look at when listening to the audio guide. But the collection of exhibits is quite big. I doubt that you will see more in any other museum if you are interested in Chernobyl disaster. One of the coolest displays was a wall with pictures taken before and after (closer to present time). It was incredible to see how this town changed after 30+ years humans left it. Foliage overgrowth looks amazing.
