Banjul, officially the City of Banjul and formerly known as Bathurst, is the capital of The Gambia and is in a division of the same name. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Fort James Island and King Fahad Mosque. Spend the 12th (Wed) exploring nature at River Gambia National Park. Spend the 13th (Thu) exploring nature at Kiang West National Park. And it doesn't end there: stroll through Abuko Nature Reserve, don't miss a visit to National Museum, pause for some serene contemplation at Roman Catholic Cathedral, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Baitus Salam Mosque.

A multi-ethnic village community formed by several tribes, Kartung lies on the far-southern coast of the Atlantic Ocean and provides some of Gambia's most secluded and picturesque bays and beaches.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Sun): explore the galleries of Lemonfish Art Gallery, learn more about the world around you at Gunjur Village Museum, and then explore and take pictures at The Reptile Farm.
