West Africa's first French settlement, World Heritage-listed Saint-Louis (or Ndar in Wolof) shows off its colonial architectural style with an ambience of tranquility and historical charm.
You'll explore and learn at Village Artisanal and Galerie Ethiopiques. Get in touch with nature at Parque Nacional de la Lengua de Barbaria and Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary. Step out of Saint-Louis with an excursion to Lac des Guiers in Louga--about 1h 45 min away. There's still lots to do: look for gifts at Rama diaw, enjoy some diversion at Ibrahim & Cie, examine the collection at Le Camee, and take in the exciting artwork at Galerie Arte.
