Located at the meeting point of two continents, Yekaterinburg serves as the cultural capital of the Urals region.
Venture out of the city with trips to Pervouralsk (Temple of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God, Church of Peter and Pavel, & more), Nevyansk (Leaning Tower of Nevyansk & Cathedral of the Transfiguration) and Seven Brothers Rocks (in Verkh-Neyvinsky). There's still lots to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Weir on river Iset, make a trip to Sevastyanov's House, get engrossed in the history at President Center of Boris Eltsin, and steep yourself in history at Yekaterinburg War Memorial.

If you are flying in from Turkey, the closest major airport is Koltsovo Airport. In September, daily temperatures in Yekaterinburg can reach 17°C, while at night they dip to 5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
