With the dramatic Carpathian Mountains as backdrop, Brasov is the largest city in a region of mountain resorts.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Sat): step into the grandiose world of Peles Castle, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sinaia Monastery, then explore the historical opulence of Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), and finally don't miss a visit to Council Square. On your second day here, wander the streets of Brasov Historical Center and then take in the awesome beauty at Mount Tampa.

Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
Take a break from the city and head to Speed Boats Tours and Island of Lokrum. Get some cultural insight at Lapad and Fort Lovrijenac. Change things up with these side-trips from Dubrovnik: Cavtat Old Town (in Cavtat) and Sunj Beach (in Lopud). Galerija 11/07/95 and Museum Of Crimes Against Humanity And Genocide 1992-1995 are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Your inner history buff will appreciate Bascarsija and Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque. When in Sarajevo, make a side trip to see River Rafting & Tubing in Foca, approximately 1h 45 min away.
