Long regarded as a gray and traffic-congested provincial town with little tourist appeal, Pristina today possesses a youthful vibrance and a newfound sense of sophistication, as the result of the city's large community of foreign functionaries.
Start off your visit on the 17th (Sun): get engrossed in the history at Ethnographic Museum (Muzeu Etnologjik), pause for some photo ops at Newborn Monument, appreciate the history behind Statue of Mother Tereza, then contemplate the long history of Medieval Monuments in Kosovo, then don't miss a visit to Gracanica Monastery, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Katedrale Nënë Tereza. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: appreciate the history behind Skanderbeg statue, then pause for some photo ops at Bill Clinton Statue, then admire the striking features of Džamija cara, and finally walk around Germia Park.
