You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Attractions like Fisherman's Bastion and Szechenyi Chain Bridge make great kid-friendly stops. Spend the 18th (Sat) immersed in therapeutic waters at a local thermal spa. And it doesn't end there: get a sense of history and politics at Parliament, steep yourself in history at Matthias Church, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), and pause for some photo ops at Hősök tere.

If you are flying in from Kuwait, the closest major airport is Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. In August in Budapest, expect temperatures between 32°C during the day and 18°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
