Palanga is a seaside resort town in western Lithuania, on the shore of the Baltic Sea. Get a sense of the local culture at Palanga Amber Museum and Cold War Museum. Get outdoors at Palanga Beach and Zemaitija National Park. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Palanga: Klaipeda (Smiltyne Beach, Akropolis, & more). The adventure continues: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and take in the awesome beauty at Birute's Hill.

Nida is a resort town in Lithuania, the administrative centre of Neringa municipality. Start off your visit on the 24th (Wed): look for all kinds of wild species at Curonian Spit National Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 25th (Thu): head outdoors with Raganu Kalnas (Hill of Witches), then examine the collection at Lithuanian Sea Museum, then get engrossed in the history at Ethnographic Fishermen's Museum, and finally explore the different monuments and memorials at Nida Cemetery.

Kick off your visit on the 26th (Fri): examine the collection at Pakruojis Manor Living Museum and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Hill of Crosses - Kryziu Kalnas. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 27th (Sat): examine the collection at Joniskis Basketball Museum, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Our Lady of the Angels, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. George's Church, and finally stop by Akropolis.

Situated between the Neris and Nemunas rivers, Kaunas is known for its old town, which, though smaller than the capital's, is in much better condition.
Take a break from the city and head to Aleksotas Hill and Vytauto Kalnas. Visit Kaunas Castle and Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul for their historical value. There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Laisves aleja (Liberty Boulevard), get a taste of the local shopping with Kauno Langas, buy something for everyone on your list at Akropolis, and contemplate the long history of Ninth Fort.

Drive from Siauliai to Kaunas in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. In July, plan for daily highs up to 27°C, and evening lows to 15°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Thu) early enough to catch the train to Vilnius.

Step out of the city life by going to Hill of Three Crosses and PuckoriU Atodanga. Shop till you drop at Vilnil. Museum of illusions and Amber Museum-Gallery. Explore Vilnius' surroundings by going to Trakai (Uzutrakis Manor Estate & Trakai Island Castle Museum).
