The booming city of Bucharest is a sophisticated metropolis with a high contrast of old- and new-world architecture.
Step out of Bucharest to go to Mogosoaia and see Mogosoaia Palace, which is approximately 34 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: ponder the world of politics at Palace of Parliament, admire the striking features of Muzeul National al Satului "Dimitrie Gusti", indulge your senses at some of the top wineries in the area, and take a stroll through Old Town.

With the dramatic Carpathian Mountains as backdrop, Brasov is the largest city in a region of mountain resorts.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Brasov: Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle) (in Bran), Mountain Postavarul (in Poiana Brasov) and Sinaia (Pelisor Castle, Peles Castle, & more). There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Black Church (Biserica Neagra), take in the awesome beauty at Mount Tampa, make a trip to Draper Bastion, and contemplate the long history of Turnul Alb.

As a World Heritage Site, Sighisoara is visited mostly for its fortified Old Town surrounded entirely by city walls.
Explore Sighisoara's surroundings by going to Icelandic Horses Riding Ranch (in Izvoare), Odorheiu Secuiesc (in Odorheiu Secuiesc) and Targu Mures (Synagogue of Tg. Mures & Palace of Culture). There's still lots to do: get to know the fascinating history of Sighisoara Historic Center, admire the landmark architecture of The Fortified Church of Biertan, view the masterpieces at Art & Crafts, and make a trip to Viscri Fortified Church.
