The regional and cultural center of northern Serbia, the riverside city of Novi Sad occupies a strategically advantageous position between Belgrade and Budapest.
Explore Novi Sad's surroundings by going to Kikinda National Museum (in Kikinda), Palic (Palic Zoo, Ladies Bath (Zenski Strand), & more) and Subotica (Vinarija Zvonko Bogdan, Domotor Palace - the City Museum Building, & more). There's much more to do: deepen your knowledge of military history at Petrovaradin Fortress, don't miss a visit to Svetozar Miletic Square, pause for some serene contemplation at The Name of Mary Church, and stroll around Danube Park.

To see other places to visit, ratings, maps, and more tourist information, refer to the Novi Sad trip planner .

Expect a daytime high around 27°C in September, and nighttime lows around 15°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 30th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
