You'll discover tucked-away gems like Laugavegur and Handknitting Association of Iceland. Head to Myconceptstore and Skumaskotfor plenty of shopping. Founded in the 10th century as a Viking fishing village, Copenhagen has morphed into the cultural, political, and economic powerhouse of the country.
Get in touch with nature at Copenhagen Zoo and Amager Strandpark. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Church of Our Saviour and Jaegerborg Dyrehave. There's much more to do: take in the waterfront at Nyhavn, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Alban's Church, see the interesting displays at National Museum of Denmark, and explore the different monuments and memorials at Assistens Cemetery.

As the country's biggest port and one of the busiest in all of Europe, Hamburg has a well-deserved reputation as Germany's Gateway to the World.
Start off your visit on the 21st (Sun): steep yourself in history at Alter Elbtunnel, then wander the streets of HafenCity, then steep yourself in history at St Nikolai Memorial, and finally make a trip to Jungfernstieg. On your second day here, admire the landmark architecture of Speicherstadt and then examine the collection at Miniatur Wunderland.
