You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Oha Beach and H2O Beach. Change things up with these side-trips from Constanta: Muzeul de Arheologie Callatis (in Mangalia) and Plaja de Carte (in Vama Veche). There's lots more to do: kick back and relax at Doors Beach, stroll through Mamaia Beach, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Catedrala Sfinții Apostoli Petru și Pavel, and try your luck at Game World Constanta.

With the dramatic Carpathian Mountains as backdrop, Brasov is the largest city in a region of mountain resorts.
Get some historical perspective at Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle) and Rasnov Citadel. Explore Brasov's surroundings by going to Peles Castle (in Sinaia) and La Prapastii Zarnesti (in Zarnesti). There's still lots to do: get to know the fascinating history of Brasov Historical Center, soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, do a tasting at Natura in Bucate, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Catedrala Ortodoxa Adormirea Maicii Domnului.

Drive from Tulcea to Brasov in 6 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and train; or take a bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Sat) early enough to take a bus to Sibiu.

Reminiscent of the height of the bourgeoisie and retaining much of its medieval architecture, Sibiu is Romania's cultural gem.
Visit Old Town and Biserica Evanghelică Fortificată for their historical value. Get out of town with these interesting Sibiu side-trips: Alba Iulia (Citadel of Alba Iulia & Catedrala Reintregirii Neamului (Coronation Cathedral)), Biserica Sfanta Treime (in Sibiel) and Rapa Rosie (in Sebes). There's much more to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Ocna Sibiului Salt Mine, appreciate the extensive heritage of Casa Calfelor, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Biserica Sf. Mihail si Gavril, and steep yourself in history at Passage of Stairs.
