Râșnov is a town in Brașov County, Romania with a population of 15,466.It is located at about 15 km from the city of Brașov and about the same distance from Bran, on the road that links Wallachia and Transylvania.HistoryThe castle of Râșnov was built in the years 1211-1225 by Teutonic Knights. Get in touch with nature at Libearty Bear Sanctuary Zarnesti and Capra Wasserfall. Visit Fagaras Fortress and Rasnov Citadel for their historical value. Step out of Rasnov to go to Sinca Veche and see Manastirea rupestra Sinca Veche, which is approximately 54 minutes away.
