In the Aosta Valley bordering Switzerland and France, the medieval city of Aosta is famous for its prime skiing conditions and rich cultural history.
Popular historic sites such as Castello di Fenis and Teatro Romano are in your itinerary. Do some cultural sightseeing at Forte di Bard and Criptoportico Forense. Venture out of the city with trips to Orta San Giulio (Palazzotto della Comunita, Lake Orta, & more), Le Ville di Ravello (in Ravello) and Verres Castle (in Verres). Do some cultural sightseeing at Castello di Grinzane Cavour and Azienda Agricola Bajaj. Museum-lovers will get to explore WiMu - Museo del Vino a Barolo and Arazzeria Scassa.
