Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Tokyo is an approximately 10.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo. Traveling from Kuala Lumpur in February, things will get colder in Tokyo: highs are around 12°C and lows about 2°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Sun) early enough to catch the train to Kanazawa.
