Protected from the Atlantic by sand spits and barrier islands, Lagos quickly grew into a mega city due to its location, and currently operates one of the continent's largest and busiest ports.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Red Door Art Gallery and Nike Art Gallery. Explore hidden gems such as Tarkwa Bay Beach and The Henna Place. When in Lagos, make a side trip to see GET Arena in Lekki, approximately 32 minutes away. The adventure continues: stroll through LUFASI Nature Park, browse the different shops at Ikeja City Mall, contemplate the long history of Freedom Park Lagos, and appreciate the history behind The Eyo of Eko Statue.
