Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
Get in touch with nature at Jericho Beach and Sea to Sky Highway. Popular historic sites such as Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site and Deep Cove are in your itinerary. Explore Vancouver's surroundings by going to Crescent Beach (in Surrey) and Shannon Falls Provincial Park (in Squamish). The adventure continues: kick back and relax at Spanish Banks, explore the activities along English Bay, explore the world behind art at Museum of Anthropology, and stroll through Kitsilano Beach.

Newark, USA to Vancouver is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. Get some cultural insight at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center and LeMay - America's Car Museum. Take a break from the city and head to Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge and Washington Park Arboretum. Get out of town with these interesting Seattle side-trips: Snoqualmie Falls (in Snoqualmie) and Tacoma (Museum of Glass & Chihuly Bridge of Glass). There's still lots to do: get a taste of the local shopping with Chihuly Garden and Glass, examine the collection at The Museum of Flight, stroll around Kerry Park, and take a stroll through Pike Place Market.
