On a vacation in Rabat, a World Heritage Site and Morocco's capital, you can discover the city's long and rich history while enjoying a laidback atmosphere, less touristy than in the booming Casablanca and Marrakech.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Sat): explore the different monuments and memorials at Chellah, then make a trip to Mausoleum of Mohammad V, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Hassan Tower, and finally contemplate the long history of Kasbah des Oudaias.

Paris, France to Rabat is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also do a combination of shuttle and flight; or drive. The time zone changes from Central European Time (CET) to Western European Time (WET), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Drive from Rabat to Casablanca in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a train. Traveling from Rabat in April, you will find days in Casablanca are slightly colder (24°C), and nights are much colder (16°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Mon) early enough to travel to Essaouira.

Step out of Fes to go to Meknes and see Meknes Medina, which is approximately 1h 20 min away.
