You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.

Prague lures millions of tourists each year with its World Heritage-listed medieval city center--a labyrinth of narrow lanes, bridges, cathedrals, and palaces overlooked by a thousand-year-old castle.
Do your shopping at Artel and PALLADIUM Shopping Center Prague. There's still lots to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Prague Castle, look for gifts at Manufaktura, wander the streets of Old Town Square, and indulge your taste buds at Farmers' Market Farmářské tržiště.

You can fly from Budapest to Prague in 5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. While traveling from Budapest, expect a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Prague, ranging from highs of 28°C to lows of 16°C. On the 28th (Tue), step off the mainland to explore Island of Lokrum, then kick back and relax at Sveti Jakov Beach, then stop by Tedi, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Gradske Zidine.
