Famed for its landscape of unusually shaped stone formations and churches cut into the natural rocks, Goreme sits in the central part of the country, an area originally settled during Roman times.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Kapadokya Balloons as well as Kocabag Winery. Museum-lovers will get to explore Goreme Open-Air Museum and Cappadocia Art & History Museum. Get a sense of the local culture at Cappadocia Cave Dwellings and Turasan Viniculture. Take a break from Goreme with a short trip to Kaymakli in Nevsehir, about 30 minutes away.
