Explore the world of technical achievements, from horse-drawn trams to jet engines and microchips, and experience life onboard a World War II submarine at Technology & Maritime Museum. Historically, the city of Malmo has served as one of Sweden's foremost industrial and innovative centers, and the museum displays this heritage, together with the overall history of scientific progress. See inventions that changed the way people live and hear the stories of navy veterans who act as guide for the fully preserved U3 submarine. There is also a selection of entertaining interactive exhibits where kids and adults learn about science while having fun. Technology & Maritime Museum Reviews
يحتوي المتحف على العديد من المعروضات المثيرة للاهتمام المتعلقة بالملاحة. نظرًا لأن هذه المنطقة من السويد كانت دائمًا مرتبطة ارتباطًا وثيقًا بالبحر ، فقد حاول موظفو المتحف أن يخبروا قدر الإمكان عن تقال... more »The museum has many interesting exhibits related to navigation. Since this area of Sweden has always been closely linked to the Sea, museum staff have tried to tell as much as possible about the traditions of the maritime business. We studied the exhibition with great interest and learned a lot of new information.
Besökte museet med två mindre barn och det var bra, men inget speciellt. Vi upplevde att det var mycket titta, och lite mindre att göra. Hallen med bilar är fin, men det är få fordon som barnen kan le... more »Visited the museum with two smaller children and it was good, but nothing special. We felt that it was a lot of watch, and a little less to do. The hall with cars is fine, but there are few vehicles that children can play with which I fully understand. The submarine is exciting to go into. The playroom was ok but worn out. What pulls down the grade further is the lack of a café.
Excellent place for family and kids to learn new different things. It is very well organized. Very well presentation of many kind of stuff that can help children and adults to learn about energy, innovations, discover new things like some of previously used submarine. Furthermore, other things like the washing machine and dishwasher first images as innovation. It is highly recommended to visit it with children and it is also recommended not to go by a private car due to limited and expensive space for parking.
I enjoyed the experience, my grandson who is only 2 years old had a marvellous time. Friendly staff, but no cafe... could of had a cafe or a drinks machine...
