The Museo Picasso is a "must see" in Barcelona. The museum's strength is in the say it provides a glimpse into Picasso's evolution as an artist and explores his creative process. more »
Even if you don't have knowledge of art and especially Picasso, this is a must see! This was a great self guided tour. Learned a lot about Picasso and really what a genius he was. From a 15 year old boy and his painting of "First communion" which is incredible, I never imagined his journey.
I usually don't like museums, but I really wanted to visit this one, as Picasso is one of my favourite painters and I was really interested. The museum is cool, because you get to see Picasso's own donations from 1970 as well (he donated thousands of his artwork) and it's interesting to see how his work evolved throughout the years. The tickets cost 7 euros if you're between 18-25 and you can program yourself online, which is really convenient and also avoids overcrowding the museum. I think this is one of the things one should see when visiting Barcelona.
