Yongdusan Park, Busan

#3 of 35 in Parks in Busan
Climb the 129 m (423 ft) high tower to observe Busan at Yongdusan Park, a small hilltop park adjacent to a busy shopping area. Spanning 69,000 sq m (742,709 sq ft) with 70 different species of trees, the park also houses two museums: one with world folk instruments, and the other with 80 boat models ranging from traditional yellow-hemp sailboats to modern yachts. Look for the 12 m (37 ft) high statue of Yi Sun-sin, a 16th-century naval commander who repelled a Japanese invasion. Take a break from busy city life and calmly observe it from the park's viewing area (though you'll need to manage some steep stairs to get there). For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Busan holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Yongdusan Park and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • You can take the Nampo-dong light return trip to the park escalator (down stairs only). The view from Busan Tower is the best. At night, the tower itself becomes a screen and you can enjoy a light-up show. As of March 2018, the entrance fee for Busan Tower Observatory is 8, 000w.

  • There is an escalator which can go to Busan Tower when walking from Nanpo Dong train station. It is so cute and renewed. There is a park, and there is a big bell and a bronze statue. The night view of Busan was able to be seen lightly because it went to the evening. If you want to see carefully, we recommend that you climb the tower. It roll in about 15 minutes if only the park is a stroll.

  • Very peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle. The air also feels a lot cleaner with plenty of trees around and less of the sewerage smell which is almost everywhere in Busan. From BIFF square, you need to take a few escalators up however note there are no escalators going down. Great view at the top.
  • Fresh air and this park has high and white tower where can look down about view of Busan city.
