Trip Planner: Europe / Poland / Central Poland / Mazovia Province / Warsaw / Palace of Culture and Science
Take in some of the country's best views from the massive Palace of Culture and Science, one of the city's most important and controversial landmarks. At 114 m (374 ft), it is Poland's tallest building. Visitors can enjoy panoramic vistas from the observation deck, accessible by an elevator. Completed in 1955, the construction was conceived as a gift from the Soviet people to the Polish nation, and its architecture blends Socialist Realism with Polish Historicism. Today, the monument is also home to company headquarters, cinemas, theaters, libraries, and educational institutions. Have a drink or a bite to eat in one of the on-site restaurants and bars. Please note, the observation terrace's entrance fee can only be paid with cash. Palace of Culture and Science Reviews
Pretty decent place... amazing architecture and stunning building... the only minus is the fact that the viewing terrace is heavily protected by steel bars which make it nearly impossible to take good... more »
Отстояв огромную очередь на подъем и на спуск, можно лицезреть наверное самую неинтересную и скучную панораму города... нет смысла тратить время more »Having stood a huge queue for the ascent and descent, you can contemplate probably the most uninteresting and boring panorama of the city... No sense wasting time
Amazing place, worth every penny. It was amazing going all the way to the top and having a stunning view for photographs. The stuff you can see in here is an experience and I cannot recommend going enough. Staff were also amazing and so accommodating.
One of the oldest and beautiful palace at the heart of the city. Lots of places to see in and around this palace. You have option to go to the top floor to have a panoramic view of capital of Poland at a night of 100mts. Of course there a ticket for it but absolutely worth it. It always crowded as u expect it to be.
