  • It Is a place of little relevance in the usual plans to visit in Panama, on the way to Isla Grande and about 30 minutes from Columbus is this place that gathers both religious and naval commerce history, highlighting the constant dispute between Píratas, Corsairs and English buccaneers and Spanish trade centers during Colonial Times, this fort open to tourists is a mouthful of this extensive history and a few steps forward the Church of San Felipe guarece al fámoso "Negro de Portobelo" that popularized Ismael Rivera in his Classic "The Nazarene".
