Jonker Street Night Market Reviews
Not only for food, but for many other activities, scenic lightings and landscapes. walking people make more beauty to it. Church, mosque, Hindu temple, Chinese temples all in same place. more »
Lots of eateries, cafes, restaurants, gift shops, craft shops. Nice stretch of street not overly crowded on the weekdays that we went. more »
A vibrant and colourful place which comes alive every Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Also a great place to savour some of the best local delicacies. Take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the sights and sounds which make this place one of the must-visit places in Melaka.
Lively! Some tough coconut competition going on at the entrance to the night market, one side is more showy, the other side is quieter & decent. The entire length of the street is filled with many small stalls peddling souvenirs, to food to snacks and designer drinks next to traditional herbal teas. Walk all the way to the end of the street and you'd see a stage with some lively performance, mostly singing. Behind the stage area is a plethora of stalls selling all sorts of foods. Enjoyable for the experience and different sorts of foods offered, but the crowds can get a little too much and the claustrophobic arrangement can seem too much to some. Go earlier, so you can actually see what you're walking on.
