  • I visited Tyre's archaeological remains in the company of a local guide. Once this was the harbour, there were warehouses, a swimming pool and spas. The street inside the columns was the main road and led to the center. The thing that surprised me the most was the spa. Underneath there were furns where they put the wood to fire, on top there was the tank with terracotta artifacts that being excellent heat conductors warmed the water. I recommend to those who are in the area to visit it

  • Tyros is an ancient Phoenician city-port birthplace of Europe and Dido and producer country of an indelible pigment from a deep red shell only for kings and nobles. The city was divided into two urban centers, an island just off the coast and the settlement of Ushu in the adjacent continental area. Alexander the great connected the island with the mainland by constructing a road for his siege machines, tearing down the old Town again using the cut stone. [332 B.C.] The siege lasted more than a year, and the dead Macedonians over 150 thousand followed by the Byzantines, where near the track they created a cemetery with carnivores, then the Romans with the amazing Hippodrome. and the Roman road with the arch of De triomphe.
