  • Going from Kaliningrad to St. Petersburg for May holidays, were looking for a place to sleep on the way. In Riga have been repeatedly, looking for new experiences. The choice fell on Sigulda because of the proximity of the cave and the Turaida Castle. The first point of visit was a cave. After a few hours in the car with great pleasure inspected her and strolled around. Clear weather, well-groomed park, cave, spring trees and singing birds have done their job-we were already delighted with our choice). Further, according to our plan, was the castle itself. Museum Expositions we did not have time to consider, we wanted to climb the tower: The view from the top of the post is shocking!!!!!! The area around the castle deserves a separate assessment: there you can walk all day, all thought out and well-groomed! Beauty! And in conclusion, we rode the cable car in Sigulda.

  • These magnificent ruins lie on a promontory that dominates the Gauja and this mysterious wooded land called "Latvian Switzerland". access to its ruins whose well-preserved Dungeon tortoises a rare silver jewelry store. There is a whole footpath to get there, passing through the romantic tomb of the rose of Turaîda to a whole of the sculptures of Indulis Ranka expressing the desires of freedom of the Latvian people in the Soviet period. you will also find at the entrance the best linen clothing shop of all Latvia

  • Nice historical site that is really worth the entrance-fee (€3,50). The castle on itself is beautiful, but in addation there is also a well designed exhibition with a lot if information about the castle. The view on top of the tower is really worth the climb.
  • The castle is amazing. There are a lot of informations about past available there and the view of the main tower is incredible.
