Sahara Kuwait Golf Resort, Kuwait City

4.2
A lush haven of exclusivity.

At the heart of Sahara Kuwait Resort is our stunning 18-hole golf course, built to PGA championship standards. Crafted by Peter Harradine, the designer behind golf courses in Doha and Jabal Ali, this charming and challenging course is 6730 yards long and features three lakes and nearly 5000 trees.

Adding to the courses distinctive character are its 12 holes bounded by the race track of the Hunting and Equestrian Club. This serves not only to add a challenging change in topography, but also offers an excellent view of the horse races. In all, nearly 750,000 m3 of sand was removed to sculpt the undulating contours of a course that engages golfers at every level of consciousness.

Floodlit holes allow players to pursue their passion even at night, avoiding summers heat and dust. The fully equipped driving range, with a shape similar to fairways, completes Kuwaits ultimate golfing experience.
For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Kuwait City holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Sahara Kuwait Golf Resort and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • This resort is nothing like what it used to be,stained curtains and towels, leaky bathroom, old scratched and outdated furniture, the tanning beds look so horrible and dirty, the pool had an old ear plugs in it,absolutely anti luxury,on top of all that the terrible service,i informed the receptionist on check in that i will be needing an extra bed. At 10 pm they call and tell me that my guests need to leave because its almost 10. I had no guests at that time and getting unnecessary calls from the reception is just annoying,PLUS i asked him again for the extra bed which he didnt provide. All these stupid calls and “policies” plus the outdated furnishings made me wish i never booked this villa, and if i can rate it 0 stars i would, but 1 is the lowest.
  • It's the best golf course in Kuwait. Peter Harridine designed, pga spec. A lovely spacious front and a challenging test on the back 9.
