Inspect a wealth of vibrant and colorful flowers at Hakone Shisseikaen. Set in the picturesque highlands of Fuji Hakone Izu National Park, the gardens exhibit over 1700 varieties of marsh and alpine species native to the country. Wander along boardwalk paths through an array of marshlands, and learn about the plants that thrive in these wetland areas, with signage in both English and Japanese. Look out for the bloom of the Nikko Kisuge (Daylily), a seasonal highlight during June, making it one of the busiest times of the year to visit the gardens. • From 10 and 13 o'clock, i found out on the website that the guide would guide me for free for about 90 minutes, so I went to aim for it. I've known the wet flower garden itself for a long time, but it was the first time I've seen it properly, and I could understand how artificially made scenery here is. It's hard to maintain that. On the other side of the ticket machine at the entrance, there was a stylish café where you could eat a snack called "Forest Café HAKONE". It is a little expensive, but it is a good shop that can relax, and it is possible to use it without paying the entrance fee of the wet flower garden here, and it might be good to stop by for a moment.

  • When I arrived at the wet flower garden parking lot thinking that the clouds were getting a little thicker, I ran and arrived at the garden because it had fallen. As the rain gradually became full-fledged and the sound of thunder was heard, i went to the "Forest Cafe" on the right hand side to shelter in the rain, and there was only one pair of customers in the wonderful shop. Enjoying the atmosphere surrounded by the desired goods and plants for about 30 minutes, the store was full, so I remembered that staying any more was a nuisance, but the rain didn't stop and I gave up and went back to the car. Still, it was a wet flower garden of great satisfaction.
