  • A short walk from the most prestigious basilica is the church of St. Francis. It's good workmanship but nothing exceptional, however since you are in the area it is worth taking a ride

  • A must visit place in Goa. I have visited this many times and everytime it feels a new experience. You have good pictures to be captured at every corners of the place. Magnificent architecture. You can just spend an hour at this place. Even the church adjacent is another historic and great place in Goa. Both churches are located adjacent to each other.you can just cross the road and explore. Lot of people visit this, crowded yet you will have no issue as the place is very big.
  • The small chapel was built by Portuguese Franciscan friars in 1517. In 1521 it was modified into a church consecrated to Holy Ghost. It was later replaced by current structure in 1661. The exterior of church is of Tuscan order and three main altar has Baroque and Corinthian features. The church is best known for its paintings, designs and rich carvings. In 1964, the church was converted into a museum by Archaeological Survey of India.
