Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, New Delhi
Trip Planner: Asia / India / National Capital Territory of Delhi / New Delhi / Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
Golden domes and ornate carvings accentuate the profile of Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the site of some of the final acts of Harkrishan Dev, a Sikh guru. Originally constructed in the 17th century and largely rebuilt after World War II, the building lies on one edge of an extensive reflective pool. Explore the compound, wandering under arcade walkways on your way to the temple itself. Be sure to follow posted procedures before entering, which include washing your feet. It's a holy place for Sikhs. It is a very famous Gurudwara of Delhi. Which is very clean and hygienic. Many tourists come to visit this place. The good thing about this place is there is a proper rooms available for staying in least amount of rent, but the condition is you have to book the room one month before . They have a big hall in which many beds are kept which costs RS 100 and to be shared among two. There is a separate hall for women and men . toilets and bathrooms are clean and hygienic.
Amazing place. One can experience feeling like Golden Temple, Amritsar. Variety of colourful fish in the pond. Huge parking area. Clean and hygienic toilets. Bathrooms also available for free of cost. Cloak room is also there for those who come from outside Delhi.
