  • A total surprise. We had no great expectations. The entrance is very inconuntary, but just behind it a fairy-tale land of trains and a beautiful garden. Powerful exposure. You could enter up to 70proc trains, open the hearth, see the tender. Just a sensation. Our son was in the seventh heaven. And these beautiful gardens... Everything was beautifully maintained. In addition, you can ride a mini-queue. It costs about 650 HUF per person. But IT's WORTH IT. The queue goes 6 minutes but it is just sensationally because the mini route leads through rides, bridges and tunnels. For me the attraction fo Top 5 Budapest. Highly recommended.

  • A place where there are few foreigners. The main visitors are mothers with children, of which in Hungary it is customary to have pieces of three or four. Old locomotives, which can be climbed, locomotives of the second half of the 20th century. Cars and even a Seagull on the railway wheels. You can study the history of railways, the development of technology, ride on a locomotive, where adults are allowed. In the depot - the current model of the railway. Certainly not the scale of Hamburg. But it's different. And here the child can push the button, buzz, etc. Station buffet is obligatory to visit. Try the ice cream and on.

  • Excellent, helpful staff, various opportunities to have fun, from 3 to 103 yo. Turntable, garden railway, models with running trains and outstanding detail, etc. Cool, fun for a morning/afternoon, or if you are really into railways, a whole day. Nice restaurant and buffet, too.
  • Really nice railway museum. I was there with a train lover and he loved it! It is obviously nice taken care of. It is a good place for kids too.
