St. Lorenz Church, Nuremberg

4.7
St. Lorenz Church stands as one of the most prominent Evangelical Lutheran churches in Bavaria. Admire the Gothic architecture outside and the many artworks inside. You'll find pieces by famous German artists such as Veit Stoss, Adam Kraft, and Peter Vischer the Elder. The gothic choir of the church, started by medieval master mason Konrad Roriczer, is particularly striking. If you're lucky, you may get to hear some music played on one of Europe's largest organs. • The church is freezing inside (even colder than outside) but the architecture is definitely worth the cold. Definitely worth the 2 euro entrance "donation".  more »
  • Imposing building which began as Romanesque and was Gothic finish. He suffered the terrible ravages of la.guerra but is now completely restored and the. Splendor. Save a series of carvings, altarpieces and the beautiful Annunciation hanging over the chapel of the retrochoir. A calm and thorough visit

  • This is a wonderful monument. A medieval church destroyed during the Second World War and later restored. This building is a treasure in the center of the old city. The entrance fee is 2 euro for adults and 1 euro for children.
  • Beautiful building. I was only able to view from outside due to being closed 11-2pm daily
