Lake Tamula is a lake in southern Estonia, located on the southeastern side of the town of Võru. The lake has an area of 2.313 km², average depth is 4.2 m and maximum depth 7.5 m.
On 11 September 2010 Estonian shot putter Taavi Peetre drowned in Lake Tamula during a fishing trip.

  • Beautiful walk along Tamulas beach. Anyone who so wishes can take a dip in the Lake. For children there are playgrounds.

  • Here you will meet hikers-families to walk and joggers on the Nice path around Tamulasjön. The Lake is from Võru town centre after all the city's South side.

  • My favourite swimming place in Estonia. Beautiful lake and beach area. Water is usually quite warm. In winter it's possible to walk on the lake.
