Kadriorg Park, Tallinn

4.6
#1 of 125 in Parks in Estonia
Home to a royal palace, Estonia's presidential residence, and a host of museums, Kadriorg Park serves as the primary green space for the greater Tallinn area. The park's network of paths and trails will take you through thick forest, past decorative ponds, and around lush garden plots. You'll find several art museums displaying works ranging from historical to contemporary. Visit the unassuming personal cottage of Peter the Great of Russia and the ornate 18th-century palace he built for his wife, Empress Catherine. Don't miss the angel-topped memorial to the Russalka, constructed to honor a Russian warship lost in 1893, which is one of many statues throughout the park. • Lucky us, the weather was fantastic. And all those birds singing made it a real treat to the ears too!  more »
  • Very nice park. We hope that after repair works will be even more beautiful. We recommend to visit the exhibition in the palace.

  • This is an amazing park, so big, beautiful and clean. There are many new trees are planted. Here you can find fascinating fountain, beautiful colored flowers, playground for children, palace, many benches. This place is for all family, where you can have a great time. Also recommend to visit Japanese garden in this park, it is so lovely.
  • This is very special place for me. As well as for most Talliners. I was visiting this park since childhood and many memorable moments happened there. Great place to walk, enjoying the weather. There is few ponds, lots of walking paths and old beautiful trees. Located near the sea it is the pearl of the city and must to visit place.
