  • Many of those of us who have visited El Salvador, a country where they are almost uninvited to the naked eye, at least the kind that wears their traditional costumes, we can't imagine the incredible indigenous heritage that this small country has. Develler!

  • Don't miss this excellent museum with well presented displays on the history and culture of El Salvador. Great exhibit on the impact of migration to the U.S. A nice mix of information and visuals to appeal to all ages. I loved the sections on spiritual beliefs, gods, and practices. Beautiful examples of pottery with shapes of animals and gods. Small but nice and well priced artisan gift shop. AND don't miss the chocolate shop, all of the varieties we bought were amazing! We spent 2 hours here reading most of the material, but you could enjoy it in less time. About 1/3 of the museum had information in English but the rest was pretty self explanatory.
  • It is a great place with historical stuff. The guided tour could be better.
