Stand in awe of the architecture and artistry of Medinet Habu, the well-preserved mortuary temple of Ramesses III and part of the Theban Necropolis World Heritage Site. As you walk through the temple, dedicated to the pharaoh and the local god Amun, notice the inscribed reliefs that celebrate Ramesses III defeating the Sea Peoples during his reign, and other remarkably well-intact hieroglyphs. The scale of the temple complex complements the surrounding mountainous scenery, and the relative lack of visitors to the site allows the imagination to run a little wilder than at various other Ancient Egyptian attractions. Medinet Habu Reviews
거대한 유적은 아스완에서부터 오는 길에서도 많이 봤지만 이것처럼 채색이 살아 있어 보는 재미가 있진 않았다. 규모와 섬세함모두가졌다. 테베유적 답게 아문 신의 부조가 많이 보인다 more »It comes from the Aswan giant ruins on the road I've been a lot of fun to watch live the coloring didn't like this. Had all the size and delicacy. Featuring the ruins of Thebes, it seems a lot of reliefs of the gods Amun
Increible, magnifico. Para visitar sin prisas y deleitarse con todas sus maravilas. Inolvidable. Una pena la invasión de palomas. more »Amazing, wonderful. To visit leisurely and enjoy all its marvels. Unforgettable. Unfortunate invasion of pigeons.
Simply an Incredible Temple and complex. Amazing reliefs of hieroglyphics and art. The colors and paint are amazing and lend greater insight as to the original look and feel of a time long past....Why this Temple doesn't get more notoriety and traffic is beyond me. ....
One of the best temples I have visited in Egypt. Best time is thursday (cruise ships are in Aswan then) and around 1 PM. Few tourists to better enjoy the magnificence of the vivid colours on the ceiling. This place gives you the perfect idea how dazzling most temples must have been. A visit is worth the time and money. Go there by bike from the West Bank. Beautiful.
