  • We were warned by a local that we met on the flight to Guayaquil to avoid this park at night apparently there are muggings and the surrounding area is not nice. In the daytime it was fine a big square...  more »
  • You have to know this park, located in an area where Guayaquil becomes a little marginal. You have to go without objects that attract attention and sit on one of the benches. You can see preachers, street photographers, salesmen, charlatans. You can hear dramas, sad or happy stories. The park is surrounded by sculptures I think of not so great artistic value, but worth to be seen.

  • Whilst walking around the shopping area we ended up here. This was a beautifully landscaped park with lots of greenery and monuments inside and outside the park. It is larger than Seminario park. It is free to visit and open to the public. There are seats so you can sit in the park. The shopping district is not to far from here as well as there are lots of restaurants around the area.
  • Gringos: historic, but kinda seedy place. Watch out.
