Even for free. I was on Kanehøj Mill for the first time and attended a nice slick exhibition with glorious test beds for the youngest poder. Where the fx could grind grain into flour and afterwards make pancakes over bonfire. The second option was to grind oats for oatmeal. I saw a lot of interest among children, but also with six. Only be seen from the inside, the mill itself was interesting. There was an opportunity to buy flour with more inside the mill at the small shop. Outside was madtelt set up. Also, there was the exhibition of various vehicles for horticulture. I can really recommend to you a visit with the kids, Yes, sågalt also as a couple or alone.
Worth a visit every Sunday from now until the fall. Get a guided tour of the knowledgeable mills and ask for flour The mill can also be used for your next party.
The Kanehøj Mill is definitely worth a visit. The mill is a typical "Dutch mill" i.e. A fixed octagonal wooden building, built on a square walled ground. On the top sits a swivel hat, on which the wings are mounted. The mill is self-propelled, ie. It even turns the wings against the wind. The mill is extremely well maintained and is seen from afar at its location high in the landscape. Maintenance and operation is the highest quality. The Møllelauget was founded in 1982.
