It boasts typical colonial architecture, featuring tall arches that support the structure, and a central courtyard. Inside, find murals, old artillery, portraits, and old furniture, plus more. • The museum itself is not particularly special. The information is not much and is willing in a simple way (I would say even rudimentary, as an exhibition of school works), tells the story of Trinidad. The building, old, has its beauty, with interior courtyards characteristic of this type of constructions, but, for me, the value of the visit (and that justifies, undoubtedly, the 2CUC/person), is the view of the tower of the building. A "homeless" tower, which allows us a panoramic view of Trinidad, with the bottom saw. NOT to be MISSED on the visit to Trinidad.

  • if you like to see how those families lived at the expense of the exploitation of blacks, this is the place, not only shows a giant construction, where the luxury of the time, was isolated from the suffering of their slaves It is to highlight their kitchen and their viewpoint ,as well as some furniture with luxurious details it is worth it, and the staff, tells you very well everything

  • My husband and I strolled into here two weeks ago behind a group so ended up avoiding the cover. Really glad we did as it’s 5CUC to take photos which is crazy. The interior is just lovely: a bit dilapidated like all of Trinidad but also delicate 19th century colors and decor all about. There are some haphazard exhibits- some in English- on Trinidad’s overall history but much is not translated and there is no information on the furniture and such. The views from the tower are stunning, SO much better than the views from La Popa. Note of warning, you’re still expected to pay for the bathroom which is again insane if you’ve already paid to enter the museum!!
  • Beautiful old architecture
