Rocky Cay, San Andres Island

Gaze out over the multicolored waters at Rocky Cay, a small beach in the Caribbean. As you stand on the shore, notice the beach's distinctive shipwreck, close enough to swim to. Bring snorkeling gear to make the most of the colorful marine life swimming through the crystal clear waters, and take a pair of water shoes to protect your feet from the coral poking out of the sea floor. Keep an eye out for iguanas slinking around underneath the palms trees, just waiting to be photographed. • Actually, we went to spend the day as guests of the Decameron Islander. Nice place, comfortable, with sun and shade, enough lounge chairs or chairs and good restaurant. Walking to a small island is a beautiful experience, but you have to make sure if the tide is high. When we went, we had to know how to swim a few meters, otherwise a person of 1.70 meters high, that day, did not stand. But it's worth going through the day. On one side of the beach, there was quite a lot of sargasso. A pity....

  • I closed a package of tours with this included. We arrived at this beach and were welcomed by vendors of a kiosk, they put us sitting behind the tents with a mini table. The food was good the care of them TB was good, average price of the beaches. The water for the most part is brown and full of high. Only the way to the other islet is clean and green. Depending on the tide you pass walking, if it is a little high can be q in some parts do not give foot. In this islet has enough corals so it's good to see goldfish, be careful not to cut yourself in the corals. Next to the boat has some shipwrecked parts, it looks pretty cool for pictures. Beware of tetanus

  • Nice place but very touristic. I definetely recommend a tour during week days and avoid weekends.
  • This place is a hot dump. Beach is eroded and nasty. There are beaches echelons above this one elsewhere on this island. Do not stay at the apartments they have there. They are disgusting and people stay up every night til 4am blasting music and having loud conversations to talk over the loud music. Colombians somehow still sweat this place. They must not travel much.
