  • We had a banquet here during a traditional chinese wedding. Great hospitality and beautiful architecture.
  • The Tang Chung Ancestral Hall is the most interesting of the attractions that form the Lung Yeuk Tau Heritage Trail in Fanling. This a registered historical monument in Hong Kong and was built in the early 16th century in memory to the Tang Chung-ling ancestors. Opening Hours are 9am to 1pm and 2-5pm daily. This historical building has an attractive exterior, with decorative plaster, motifs and auspicious animals decorating the facade, roof and entrance area to the ancestral hall. This makes for nice sightseeing if you enjoy viewing historic temples and buildings during your travels. You can enter the building, finding an open three hall building structure. Inside, you'll find fine wood carving beams, an old stone plaque as well as general information regarding this attraction and others featured as part of the Lung Yeuk Tau Heritage Trail. You can easily spend 15-20 minutes at the Tang Chung Ancestral Hall viewing this nicely preserved heritage attraction and reading up on the various attractions you can see along the self-guided walking trail. Note: If you want to download maps or read up on the various attractions before trying to visit the Lung Yeuk Tau Heritage Trail, you should visit the Antiquities and Monuments Leisure Office & Cultural Services Department website beforehand.
