  • Walking in the middle ring, I found a market! Flowers, fresh food, and meat are also very interesting. There seems to be a person who sells it from Shenzhen in China and the vegetables of the Hong Kong S.A.R., too. The flower was very beautiful, and there was an orchid, too! I was shocked at the appearance that meat is dried whole! Fun.

  • This is the third-generation Central Market, which was officially launched in May 1939. has been included as a three-tier historical building, a 4-layer high, and the market has ceased functioning in March 2003. The building is in the process of activation, leaving the main channel from the middle to the mid-levels escalator system. The building passage is now in Hong Kong and Shenzhen City, the twin-city Biennale, which displays the city's information questions and answers.

  • Great view and location. Extremely nice pool. Half of the staff don't speak Cantonese which is the local language so it is a bit ironic. Lobby is so small and not as grand as other luxury hotels.
  • Still a major thoroughfare, its convoluted routing harks back to the time before land reclamation when it was by the waterfront. It has since been redeveloped - in a somewhat unspectacular modern manner - but is still home to some traditional shophouses with picturesque balconies and covered arcades. A cluster of such shophouses can be found near the intersection with Aberdeen Street. Continue along Queen's Road Central until you can see the Escalator crossing the street overhead; Central Market will be on your left. An unremarkable and in fact rather ugly building from the outside, its cavernous interior is more like a zoo than a market. Everything from chickens are quail to eels and crab, alive or freshly slaughtered, are on display. The Chinese like their purchases fresh and what better way to ensure that than watch dinner being killed before your eyes. This market is definitely not for the faint-hearted. The smell can also be overwhelming. But if you feel up the challenge, then you are in for an exhilarating experience.
