  • The administrative building of the Centre has been rated as a Grade II-listed ancient building, which was built in the mid-20th century. The reception area includes arts and handicrafts shops and restaurants, as well as a conference hall and a circular exhibition hall. From the reception area there is a double-decker footbridge connecting the former British Arms Depot's historic area. Into the inner as in a small jungle, full of natural air. The military base monument is a Grade I historic building, a building in the mid-19th and early 20th century, with a total of four buildings. After rehabilitation and activation, gunpowder storage warehouses and workshops have been turned into venues for performances, lectures, film screenings, exhibitions, conference rooms and offices. Now there is an exhibition called Looking for Fun. Photos showing the remains of fallen trees after the super-strong Lufeng Mountain hit Hong Kong, as well as watercolors, oil colors, paintings, paint murals, screen printing, clay works, and statues. The most appreciated is the use of clay, oil and watercolor made of white butterfly orchids and another purple-printed orchid, the shape is lifelike, like a very high degree of authenticity. Also here is the Royal Navy's stone, which was previously used to divide the boundary. In addition, the tracks previously used to transport gunpowder remain on the ground. It is worth seeing an old birch tree at the gate of the monument garden, the root of which grows in the seams of the wall, the real stone wall tree.

  • Love this place. Fantastic exhibitions on a regular basis and incredible to see the work they have done restoring the buildings. Worth going for a look around even if you don't see a particular exhibition. I think they need to do more to get the word out on this place - it's a hidden gem. Ammo - the restaurant - is great too.
  • A beautifully executed adaptive reuse of a colonial-era armoury plus new construction of a multipurpose hall, rooftop garden and restaurant. The Asia Society hosts an impressive programme of arts and business seminars and movie screenings, as well as 2 to 3 exhibitions in the gallery every year. It is a must-see destination in Hong Kong, and with it's city-centre location, an easy place to visit again and again.
